Description of Workshop
This Guided Upcycling session will explore diverse design techniques with multidisciplinary artist Kali. This creative workshop is perfect for all skill levels. You will learn to use various design techniques to upcycle with Halloween-inspired designs. Kali will guide you through techniques such as sewing, embroidery, stamping, fabric painting, patchwork, and decals to elevate your wardrobe or any project you wish to undertake.
A few words about the instructor:
Kali's journey as - Stay Curious Artist- is about inspiring everyone to embrace art, whether or not they see themselves as artists. Her vision is to ignite creativity and curiosity in everyone she meets. She chooses art as both a lifestyle and a form of self-expression. Kali upcycles clothes using various techniques, transforming them into pieces of art.
Workshop Overview:

You can upcycle whatever you like: a denim jacket, piece of clothing, or tote bag. You can also show up and get creative with scrap fabric that can be applied to an upcycle in the future.
- Experiment with hands-on customization options, including:
- Embroidery techniques to add texture
- Stamps and fabric painting for eye-catching patterns
- Patchwork to incorporate different fabrics and colors
- Decals for a fun and festive touch
- Personalize your piece with unique colors, patterns, and textures to embody the Halloween spirit.
